Did you accidentally put a hot pan on your wood table? Don’t worry! There’s a solution. Try using an iron and a light colored towel to remove the unsightly white mark left behind from heat damage. Simply place the towel over the spot and run the iron over it. The steam will lift the stain from the wood.
Remove heat spots with cigarette ash and lemon juice
To remove white heat marks from a polyurethane wood finish, mix cigarette ash and lemon juice. As you mix, a paste forms. Apply the paste with a steel wool over the spot.
