Cheesy Pierogi Casserole


Preheat and Prepare: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Sauté Onions and Garlic: In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until onions are translucent.
Layer the Dish: Arrange a layer of frozen pierogi at the bottom of the prepared dish. Sprinkle half of the bacon, followed by half of each type of cheese.
Repeat: Add another layer of pierogi, followed by the remaining bacon and cheese.
Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Serve with Sour Cream: Garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream on each serving.
