Honey Pepper Chicken Mac and Cheese


Cook the macaroni in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the heavy cream, stirring continuously until thickened.
Add the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese to the cream sauce, stirring until melted. Season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce. Mix well and keep warm.
For the chicken, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until golden and cooked through.
In a separate pan, heat honey, soy sauce, black pepper, and chili flakes over medium heat. Add the cooked chicken to the honey mixture and stir to coat evenly.
Serve the honey pepper chicken over the creamy mac and cheese.
