Savor the rich flavors of this Savory Beef Marsala with Mushrooms!



Season the beef strips with salt and pepper, then lightly coat them in flour, shaking off any excess.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned on all sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the butter and chopped onion. Cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for another 4-5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
Pour in the Marsala wine and beef broth, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
Stir in the heavy cream and fresh thyme. Return the beef to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened and the beef is cooked through.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
