2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, at room temperature
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 full-sized Snickers bars (or about 15 fun-sized), cut into pieces to make about 1.5 cups, plus extra for garnish
1/3 cup chocolate chips (optional for filling)
