This is all you have to do to freeze your garden tomatoes so that you can use them all winter long.
Wash the Tomatoes: Thoroughly clean the tomatoes under running water to remove any dirt or residues.
Remove the Stems: Cut off the stems and any blemishes or bruised spots.
Bag the Tomatoes: Place the cleaned and stemmed tomatoes in a freezer-safe bag, such as a Ziploc bag.
Seal and Label: Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible, and label it with the date.
When ready to use, simply thaw the tomatoes. The skins will slip off easily after thawing, making them perfect for sauces, soups, and stews.
