WHITE LINE DOUGHNUT

INGREDIENTS

◾️3 cups of all-purpose flour
◾️½ cup granulated sugar
◾️1 tablespoon instant dry yeast
◾️4 tablespoons margarine
◾️1 large egg (optional)
◾️½ tablespoon vanilla extract (optional)
◾️½ cup warm water
◾️Oil for frying (enough to submerge the doughnuts)

PROCEDURE

1. In a large bowl, combine the flour and yeast, sifting them together.

2. Add the sugar and any other dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly.

3. Incorporate the margarine into the dry mixture.

4. Optionally, mix in the egg and vanilla extract to form crumbs.

5. Create a well in the center and gradually add warm water, kneading until the dough is soft and pliable.
