1 onion, chopped

1 lb ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup ricotta cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
